I have never seen this video before. Thank you so much for this posting, it touched my heart deeply. As a veteran November, 11th holds special meaning for me and every time I see a WWII veteran I try to shake their hand and thank them if the timing is right. They are true heroes for stepping up to the challenge of their era. It is sad seeing less and less of these amazing people with each passing year.
I have never seen this video before either. This video also touched me because my dad was in WWII and November 11 is a special day for me too. My dad told me lots of stories when he was alive about the things he saw. I am proud to be his daughter. My brother has his war medals and his pay book from when he was in the war and it was really neat to look at them. Susan Crawford
I love this video and leave it to you to help us remember...the good,the bad and the ugly about ourselves! Just so you know I have been following your blogs for the past year and a half and really like that you've made a commitment to try and update them weekly...I would really like to have a conversation with you one day about remembering and the fact that you dont have to wait until someone is gone from this world to miss them.
